Listen to The Dark Knight Rises soundtrack!

Empire have today posted the entire The Dark Knight Rises soundtrack on their site for all to hear (yes, everything).

Hans Zimmer previously collaborated with James Newton Howard on the scores for both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, but Howard decided against returning for The Dark Knight Rises as he thought Zimmer and director Christopher Nolan “had established such good chemistry working on Inception, and he didn’t want to be a third wheel”.

The Dark Knight Rises soundtrack release date has been set for July 17th, 2012, and is now available to pre-order on Amazon.

Eight years after The Dark Knight, the terrorist leader Bane arrives in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to the limits, and forcing Batman to resurface after taking the fall for Harvey Dent. Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman will reprise their roles alongside Anne Hathaway (Catwoman), Tom Hardy (Bane), Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
