20th Century Fox has set the Life of Pi DVD release date for March 12 in the US. They’ve also announced the international release date for the Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD will be March 8th. The Blu-ray version will include over two hours of behind-the-scenes special features, with deleted scenes, five featurettes that dive into the making of the film, 60 pieces of inspirational artwork, storyboards and more.
Life of Pi, directed by Ang Lee, has been nominated for 11 Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director. The film has also been a huge commercial success having taken more than $525 million at the worldwide box office.
