Lauren Shuler Donner talks Wolverine running time and young Storm

young storm 500x255 X-Men Origins: Wolverine producer Lauren Shuler Donner recently spoke to Widescreen Vision about the movie and revealed a few interesting details. Firstly, the cameo of a young Storm that we saw in the trailer did not make the final cut, and will most likely be on the DVD as a deleted scene. Secondly, the film will be under two hours long, which was expected as 20th Century Fox have a habit of making shorter films. However, I hope it is longer than X-Men: The Last Stand. For a movie with big storylines such as the Dark Phoenix saga and the Cure it went by pretty quickly.

Exactly. I was upset. I was looking forward to seeing Storm in the movie, even if it was only for a few mins. Well if she gets a neat deleted scene then im up for the DVD. And i bet alot of Storm fans would have wanted to watch the movie to see her cameo. Pfft we all know Gambit and Scott made their cameo. we want Storm!

Damn it! I was sitting in the cinema and waiting the whole time for her cameo. After watching it I felt really mad. I mean putting her in the trailer, let us Storm fans get kinda excited about it and then just cut her out?! What's up with that? I really do hope she's on the deleted scenes on the DVD 'coz if I'm so gonna get it.

I was soooooo upset Storm was in the trailer and not in the movie… I was like wtf? Then I wait after the credits and that was like a few seconds and he's just like "I drink to remember"?

With all the news on global warming she could be like a daughter of Mother Earth or something. I mean you don't have to be a genius just a good writer and a fan!
Storms popularity comes from the facts that she's a Black Woman a rarity in the world of Super Heros. You can even do a flash forward story with her and Panther in Africa.
