We heard rumblings last month, but now it has been confirmed that Kevin Costner (Dances with Wolves, Waterworld) will play Jonathan Kent, Superman’s earth father, in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot.
Costner will star opposite Oscar nominated actress Diane Lane who joined the cast as Martha Kent two weeks ago. Then there’s obviously Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent. Now Snyder and Warner Bros. need to find their villain, thought to be General Zod, and fill out the rest of the cast.
