First Look at Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter?

Below is an image that appears to be our first look at Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. The image comes from Johnny-Depp.org and is probably one of the creepiest and weirdest things I’ve seen all day.

Depp will appear alongside Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Sheen, Mia Wasikowska, Matt Lucas, Crispin Glover, Stephen Fry and Alan Rickman in the 3D, partly motion capture, film. I can’t wait to see what everyone else looks like.

    The more i look at the pic the more i like it and fell calm, it reminds me of edward sissorhands in a way!! Its growing on me!!

    yeah, I don't know where this came up. he's not one of Burton's mainstream. I'd love to see him in it though. Maybe the White Rabbit or the March Hare or the Gryphon…. that is going on his voice only you understand…
