Japan’s take on Wolverine and Iron Man

japan wolverineAbout a year ago Marvel made a deal with animation studio Madhouse to create four anime series for release in 2010, the first two of which would be based on Wolverine and Iron Man. Now we have teasers to cast our eyes on, and to be honest I want to pull mine out. In Wolverine’s case anyway. He/it looks nothing like the Wolverine we know and the only way I know it’s Wolverine is due to the 3 blades appearing from his/it’s hands. Iron Man, on the other hand, looks exactly the same and looks more interesting than Wolverine’s. Watch the teasers below!

    Yeah, Wolverine looks very.. un-Wolverine like. o_o I don't know if I should be upset or not though. Right now I'm just so happy with some sort of update on this project! :D Maybe I'll be annoyed later. Right now, it's all glee.

    It looks like Trinity Blood -like art. o.o ^.^ In any case, it's nice to see Marvel branching out some more. I mean, they always are willing to try new stuff and take risks and really go all out for fans.. but this is really cool.. :D <3 Maybe it's because I love anime so much. Is it as cool as I think it is? Or am I bias because my love for anime?

    dude wolverine started sucking when they put him in the movies. glad that they got the guy who did X to do wolverine…and i am glad the guy who did metropolis is doing iron man, any way thats what the style's look like…iron man looks basic. glad to see some ones giving wolverine balls he is the most overrated xmen of all and not my fav but i love anime.
