shia labeoufShia needs to take a LaBreak, seriously! Then again, if I was Hollywood’s next IT boy toy (hey, it could happen!), I’d probably want to keep my face on the silver screen as often as possible, too!

Not only will he appear in this summer’s new Indiana Jones movie and the upcoming thriller Eagle Eye in September, but now he’s signed on for Universals Dark Fields, a thriller (apparently) in the vein of Fight Club and The Game.

“His character gets his hands on a top-secret pharmaceutical drug that makes you smarter. He experiences sudden financial and social success but soon discovers that the drug has deleterious side effects, including “trip-switching,” a phenomenon in which time moves with a stop-motion quality.”

The film is being helmed by The Illusionist director, Niel Burger, and is slated for release in 2010. But don’t worry! We still have Transformers 2 to hold us over until then!
