Images from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland

USA Today have revealed a bunch of new images from Alice in Wonderland, and as this is Tim Burton they are both freaky and wonderful at the same time. They feature Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. They also have three more pieces of concept art.

Here’s Johnny!

holy shit! this picture is fucking creepy. tim burton is a good director, but if this turns out like charly and the chocolate factory i will be pissed. it's the only burton film i thought could have been better. and this is a disney film. ok,, and i hear its a sequil to the cartoon or some thing like that? i read the book and i dont care if it dont fallow thats fine with me, i was just hoping this would be a mix of alice in wonderland and through the looking glass. if they wanted to make a n alice movie, i would have liked them to make an adaption of the video game american mcgees alice, that would have been ssick
  • USA Today had this:

"Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn't remember."

So it is a sequel of sorts.

Is it weird that he looks like Tobey Maguire with all that make-up on?

There are only links to the article accompanying the concept art, not the pictures of Hathaway or Carter, or any of the other "bunch" of images. What gives?
  • It seems they have taken them down. Try here: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id...
