CHUD are reporting that Will Smith’s I Am Legend had to under go re-shoots last week, as Warner Bros were unhappy with director Francis Lawrence’s ending. Apparently Lawrence’s ending was already unfaithful to Richard Matheson’s original story, so whether the ending will be changed back to what it was originally, or changed to something else entirely in unknown. Knowning studios they like things to fit with the ‘formula’. By that I mean everything end up all well and good by the end of the movie and Will Smith lives happily ever after. Alternatively, they could have Will Smith involved in a few more action scenes, blow some stuff up, and then live happily ever after.

Whatever the ending is, we will soon find out soon as the movie comes out next month.
