Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice each took home four Golden Raspberry Awards.
These might not be the sort of awards you want on your resume, but hey someone has to win them and for the 37th Razzie Awards Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party took home the big one, Worst Picture. The questionable documentary also won Worst Actor (Dinesh D’Souza as himself), Worst Actress (Becky Turner as Hillary Clinton) and Worst Director (Dinesh D’Souza and Bruce Schooley).
As I said in the intro superhero blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice also took home four Razzie awards, Worst Supporting Actor (Jesse Eisenberg), Worst Screen Combo (Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill), Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel and Worst Screenplay.
Kristen Wiig also received a Golden Raspberry for her part in Zoolander No. 2. That’s a movie I think was absolutely deserving of a lot more “recognition” than just this one award. And lastly on a much brighter note Mel Gibson got the Razzie Redeemer Award for his excellent work on Hacksaw Ridge. For those wondering that’s a good award for past Razzie “winners” that managed to make a big comeback. And that’s kind of it for the Razzie Awards, you can watch the announcement video of the winners in the video below.
