Here’s a detailed look at Spider-Man’s suit

@RIMBreaks posted a very detailed close-up of Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man suit, which was presumably snapped recently during filming. We’ve already been given an official image of the suit, but this image gives us a better look at the new design when the mask is on.

The Amazing Spider-Man, set for release July 3, 2012, is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Rhys Ifans as the Lizard, Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben, Sally Field and Aunt May, and Irrfan Khan as the “Proto-Goblin,” a test subject of Norman Osborn’s experimentations.

    looks dirty.

Eh, not bad, but FOR GOD SAKES JUST GIVE US THE FREAKIN “HOBGOBLIN!” What the hell is a proto-goblin, no I say NO dammit!

The suit was one of the few things I genuinely enjoyed from the original, and one aspect I truly believe they had nailed. While this suit isn’t terrible, it is not the Spidey suit I think of when I think “Amazing Spider-Man.”

I can totally see the guy’s eye through the mesh!  Weird.

I agree with Vaddix. First we got this “New Goblin” in Spider-Man 3 and now we got “Proto Goblin?” I want Hobgoblin!

This movie its going to suck!!! i´ve never seen a remake made that soon, ¿for what???? Spiderman trilogy ended in 2007, now after just 5 years…  again with the death of uncle Ben???, again with discovering of the powers??? again with the born of  the goblin??? again waiting for the guy put that god dam costume for a whole movie??give it a rest!!!

    Now………..a Venom Movie? that´s new…….

  • Thegrez

The suit looks like an old basquetball……..

You can see his eyes! You’re not suppose to be able to see them. That’s another thing on my list on how the REBOOT IS NOT TRUE TO THE COMICS.

you do realize they will cover up the eyes with the special effects, right? just like in the other movies.
