Coolness: Half-Life Live Action Movie Dream Cast

If a movie studio decided to make a movie based on the popular game Half-Life then Soviet Delirius‘ casting choices are pretty spot on. Here are some below:

I played Half-Life for around 10 minutes before I found myself lost, scared and afraid. The giant machine attacking me didn’t help either. However, the Half-Life concept would make a great movie, if done right of course (ie. Not Fox)

    I think this is a good cast in how they look, but if you actually see them in theaters you would be burning the building down (think about it, while Eli would sound cool with morgan freemans voice, you could not stand it in a movie)

    Nice choices for Gordan and Eli. But why not use the face that Alyx was modeled after? The actress Jamil Mullen’s facial features were slightly modified to create the face for Ms. Vance. Or, you could use Alyx’s voice actress, Merle Dandridge. Both could work, in my opinion.

    As beautiful as Lucy Liu is, she’s not a Afrian/Asian mix. You can’t have Morgan Freeman as a father unless you resemble him.

    Frankly? The actor’s that voiced the characters actually look like them.

    Alyx Vance -> Merle Dandridge is of African/Asian decent just like her character.

    Doctor Eli Vance -> Robert Guillaume (of the TV show “Benson”) is the African part of Alyx’s heritage.

    With as bad-ass as Gordon Freeman is, the old fart Hugh Laurie has got to be a joke!

    Gordon has to be someone that doesn’t look like he’d shatter if he got knocked down. Yes, Hugh has a gotie and a slender face, but he’s not Gordon Freeman.

    Seriously? I think a buff Johnathan Frakes (Riker of STNG) would make an excellent Gordon Freeman. He has the face, the looks. Does he have the build? Well, it’s been a few years since we’ve seen him.

    Remember, Gordon Freeman is an MIT geek turned bad-ass. The actor must have a combination of geek and bad-ass-itude.
