I don't know about this movie. I was a big G.I. Joe fan as well, and I haven't really thought about what this movie should be like. Granted, it's gonna stick to effects of movies like Transformers (great CGI, but not a great movie), but I have a feeling this will be cheesy and may just downright blow hot air. I hope I'm wrong, really. Of course, movies like this are always about 'not letting down the fans' or 'fanboys'. Just make a good movie with some decent details. I mean, I saw the photos on imdb.com -- where's the cobra logo on the costumes?!

G.I. Joe was my favorite cartoon of all time. I like who is cast as Destro, and Dennis Quaid as Gen. Hawk, I'm not so sure, but thats mostly because I didn't like him in The Day After Tomorrow.
What they say above aboud Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character is alittle worrysome, because according to IMDb, he's cast as Cobra Commander. And, Cobra Commander was not a former Joe that fell onto dark times, he was a used car salesman…
I hope they don't f up the whole storyline with some fallen hero friend crap.
