Fast and Furious actress Gal Godot has signed up to play Wonder Woman in at least three movies in DC’s movie universe. Godot revealed the news to Good Evening with Gai Pines (via BatmanNews.com), and she also said she’d be receiving $300,000 for the role in Batman vs. Superman. Quite honest of her.
Multi-picture deals are common place nowadays, especially when studios are trying to build up franchises over multiple movies. Godot’s deal with Warner Bros. seems quite tame compared to Marvel’s cast contracts. Samuel L. Jackson signed for 9 movies and Chris Evans is locked in for 6.
Gal Gadot revealed she’s set to begin filming in May, which makes sense given the new May 2016 release date. That gives them two years. Hopefully Wonder Woman gets her own movie at some point and won’t be the Black Widow of the DC universe (popping up in other hero movies).
