G.I. Joe: Retaliation, once a June 2012 release, was pushed back to March 2013 to enable time for a 3D conversion and to beef up Channing Tatum’s role. Now Paramount has reignited the marketing campaign with the release of a new trailer that’s heavy on action sequences and VFX (and contains little bit more Tatum).
Framed for crimes against the country, the G.I. Joe team is terminated by the President’s order, and the surviving team members face off against Zartan, his accomplices, and the world leaders he has under his influence.
As well as Tatum, the sequel also stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki, Jonathan Pryce, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson.
