The first international trailer for The Internship has been released and it definitely looks like a return-to-form for both of its stars, Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. It’s hard to believe that the duo’s last film together was Wedding Crashers in 2005, but this already seems like a certain hit.
The story revolves around two 40-something salesmen (Vaughn and Wilson) who manage to talk their way into an internship at Google, only to realise that they are completely out of their depth. Google famously gave permission for the production to film several external scenes at the company’s Mountain View headquarters in California.

Here’s the synopsis:
Billy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Owen Wilson) are salesmen whose careers have been torpedoed by the digital world. Trying to prove they are not obsolete, they defy the odds by talking their way into a coveted internship at Google, along with a battalion of brilliant college students. Gaining entrance to this utopia is only half the battle. Now they must compete with a group of the nation’s most elite, tech-savvy geniuses to prove that necessity really is the mother of re-invention.
The Internship is directed by Shawn Levy (Real Steel) and also stars Rose Byrne (X-Men: First Class, I Give It a Year) and John Goodman (Argo, Flight).
The film is due for release in the US on 7th June and the UK on 4th July 2013.
