Now take it for granted that this new film from The Lincoln Lawyer director Brad Furman looks like an intensely good time. No one seems to be gunning for awards, at least for now, but it’s fun to see Affleck taking on a more villainous role.

Penned by Rounders scribes Brian Koppelman and David Levien, the film revolves around Princeton grad student Richie Furst (Timberlake), who believes he’s been swindled, travels to Costa Rica to confront an online gambling billionaire (Affleck) whose business is even less legitimate than it first seems and gets sucked into his dangerous world.
The juicy-looking thriller also stars Ben Schwartz, Dayo Okeniyi, Sam Palladio (Nashville) and Oliver Cooper.
Runner, Runner arrives in theaters on September 27th.
