Atonement and Pride and Prejudice director Joe Wright has re-teamed with Keira Knightley for Anna Karenina, an adaptation of Leo Tolstoy’s 1877 novel of the same name. The story takes place in late-19th-century Russia and follows Anna (Knightley) who is trapped in a loveless marriage with a senior statesman called Alexei Karenin (Jude Law with bad hair).
Anna looks for a better life and falls for Count Vronsky (Aaron Johnson), but in the end she only finds a more complicated one

Anna Karenina also stars Kelly Macdonald, Matthew MacFadyen, Domhnall Gleeson, Alicia Vikander, Emily Watson, Olivia Williams and Ruth Wilson, and will be released on November 9th, 2012.
