While this is still very much a teaser for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, there’s a lot to unpack here, including a line right at the end that may or may not be a red herring.
I like that they mirrored the first teaser for The Force Awakens, only this time we see Rey coming from above instead of Finn from below. And we of course get to see a bit of Rey training with Luke, who actually speaks this time. Now about his final line, “it’s time for the Jedi to end”, it’s good, I like it, gives us a good picture of where Luke’s head is at, but you know he’s going to change his mind by the end of the movie (or maybe in Episode 9). I can tell you right now Jedi aren’t going anywhere, you can be certain we won’t have a Jedi-less Episode 10. Oh and Kylo Ren is still his brooding self. Now I can’t wait for the first proper full trailer for The Last Jedi, likely coming at some point this summer.
