20th Century Fox’s handheld documentary-style superhero movie Chronicle opens this Friday in the US (it’s already out in the UK), and if you weren’t planning on seeing it the studio has released one final trailer to persuade you.
Watch below:
Three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to their developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides begin to take over.
So far reviews for Chronicle have been mostly positive and it currently sits at 89% on Rotten Tomatoes after 17 reviews. That percentage will fluctuate over the weekend as more reviews pour in, but it looks like Fox has a hit on its hands (the production budget was only $15 million).
Max Landis, son of writer/director John Landis, wrote the script and Josh Trank (The Killing Point) is directing. Michael B. Jordan, Dane DeHaan and Alex Russell star.
