Yesterday in honor of Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday Evangeline Lilly tweeted a picture of her character, Hope van Dyne, from next year’s Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Principle photography began on the sequel on August 1st and it will continue for at least three more months (if everything goes according to plan they should be finished on November 30th).
Here’s the original tweet:

As you can clearly see her new suit doesn’t quite match up to the Wasp we saw at the end of Ant-Man. For a refresher here’s what that costume looked like two years ago:
You could obviously say it was a prototype and what we’ll see in the new film should be the final version. Also we haven’t seen the helmet and her wings yet, hopefully soon. Expect a trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp before the end of the year.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is directed by the same Peyton Reed that helmed the first installment. Credited for writing the new film’s screenplay are Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Andrew Barrer, Gabriel Ferrari and Paul Rudd. Starring in the sequel are Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer (as Hope’s mother, Janet van Dyne), Judy Greer, Walton Goggins, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Pena, Randall Park and more.
Ant-Man and the Wasp will be released on June 29th 2018 in the UK and July 6th in the US. Before that we’ll get to see more of Ant-man in Avengers: Infinity War come April 25th/May 4th 2018.
