Robert Downey Jr. has teamed up with The Hangover directer Todd Philips and actor Zach Galifianakis for Due Date, a buddy-comedy movie which has been described as a cross between The Hangover and Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
In the film Downey Jr. plays an expectant father who comes across Galifianakis, a wannabe actor. Together they dash cross-country to in the hope of arriving in time for the birth of Downey’s child. Like the majority of comedy actors Galifianakis seems to be playing his Hangover persona again, but the trailer has a few funny moments and looks promising.
