First trailer for Due Date starring Zach Galifianakis and Robert Downey Jr.

due date movieRobert Downey Jr. has teamed up with The Hangover directer Todd Philips and actor Zach Galifianakis for Due Date, a buddy-comedy movie which has been described as a cross between The Hangover and Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

In the film Downey Jr. plays an expectant father who comes across Galifianakis, a wannabe actor. Together they dash cross-country to in the hope of arriving in time for the birth of Downey’s child. Like the majority of comedy actors Galifianakis seems to be playing his Hangover persona again, but the trailer has a few funny moments and looks promising.

Due Date will be released on November 5th and also stars Michelle Monaghan and Jamie Foxx.

    Best part about the trailer: Robert Downy Jr's character telling the driver of the pickup to step on it after he confirms they're coming up to a speedbump then Zack's character flying in the bed of the pickup as they go over the speedbump.

    first off…the “driver of the pickup” is Oscar winner Jaime Foxx, so um yeah…missed that one. Anyways movie looks hilarious. Galifinakis saying “check yourself before you wreck yourself” is classic already and the movie hasn't come out yet. I'm sure it will hit the cheesy, formulaic patch somewhere during the movie, but from what they've shown it looks pretty good.
