The Dark Knight Sets New Opening Day Record With $66.4 Million!

It seems The Dark Knight is doing rather well financially! Box Office Mojo are reporting that it has made $66.4 million in its opening day, which just so happens to be the biggest opening day ever, beating Spiderman 3, Dead Man’s Chest and Revenge Of The Sith. It’s opening day is also bigger than the previous five Batman movies were able to make in their opening weekends alone.

We’ll have to see whether it can beat the three day $151 million opening record which Spiderman 3 currently holds. The Dark Knight is getting great reviews so word of mouth may make people run to see it this weekend, and lets hope they do because if anyone is going to knock Spidey off the top spot, who better than Bruce Wayne?

Need some one to knock off Spidy? Why need? I can understand making fun of the movie but not the icon. And don't bring up emos because I have one word that surpass lameness from Batman movies that makes Spidy's "dark" outlook look like nothing. Nipples

Spencer, look at Spiderman 3. Nuff said. TDK deserves it. Great film.
