Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’ gets release date

 ImageInterstellar has been described as “a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding” and it will be released on 7th November 2014.

It’s the latest sci-fi film from visionary director Christopher Nolan (Inception, The Prestige) and will focus on time travel, alternate dimensions and the relationship of a team of explorers as they travel through a wormhole.

Paramount and Warner Bros. will be teaming up on the project, with Paramount releasing in the US and Warner Bros. handling international distribution.

Nolan has enjoyed massive success in recent years with a string of classy blockbusters that include The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. He recently served as co-writer/producer on the forthcoming Man of Steel, which is due for release in on 14th June 2013.

The film is directed by Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen) and stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner and Michael Shannon as General Zod.
