I think Weitz did a fair job on Compass but... I just don't think a man should be directing this. Call me sexist but it was really awesome to have this story coming through the lens of a powerful female triad (Meyer as author, Rosenberg as screenwriter and Hardwicke as director). I guess we'll just have to wait and see how things are going when shooting starts in the spring but I'm not holding my breath.
