One thing worth noting is that Beast, played by Nicholas Hoult, is no longer blue and furry as he was at the end of X-Men: First Class. In the comics Beast made himself an image inducer so he could walk around in public without being identified as a mutant. Singer said the film would be introducing new technology we haven’t seen before, so it makes sense to introduce it here. It’ll give Hoult more face time, at least.
The appearance of Wolverine alongside Beast in the 70s could confuse some, however we know Wolverine is roaming around during the era thanks to his appearance in X-Men: First Class. Singer is fond of Wolverine and Hugh Jackman so we knew Logan would get a meaty role in this film, I just hope he doesn’t over-shadow other characters as he has done in previous films. A past and future Wolverine means plenty of screen-time for those mutton chops.
