The untitled Bond 22 film is to begin filming by the end of the year. We have the director, Marc Forster. The script by Paul Haggis was turned in last week, all they need now is the cast.

According to MI6.co.uk, “Swedish actor Rafael Edholm is in contention for the role of the villain. … Edholm confirmed that he will be screen testing for the part.” The 41 year-old actor also said that winning the role “would be really cool.”

Regarding the Bond girl, Israeli actress Moran Atias is apparently one of the favourites to land a role.

“Last Sunday, she was called to the Sony Studios for a meeting with director Marc Forester. Five Latina actresses were also invited,” according to MI6.

The Bond Girl character is said to be Latina, although some non-Latina actresses in addition to Atias are being considered for the role. Atias will next appear in the forthcoming Adam Sandler comedy You Don’t Mess with the Zohan.
