First thing I thought when reading was: good call! I think the only other actor I MIGHT prefer would be THE Sean Connery but you know, Scotland ain't free yet so…

He's the man, no question. But isn't he a bit on the smaller side to be playing Odin? I'm sure they'll make it work though. I mean.. it's Anthony Hopkins. :3 He's awesome. Pretty stoked about this casting news. :D

this is great news. i notice on every website reporting this casting no one never call him Sir Anthony Hopkins the man got a knighthood.
