Testosterone fuelled Expendables 2 got another trailer from Lionsgate yesterday and hot damn, it look awesome. For people like me that grew up watching this stars in action movies of the 80′s and 90′s, The Expendables 2 looks like the perfect end of the summer blockbuster.

With a run time of just 1 minute this trailer ain’t exactly what you’d call long yet it manages to hit all the right notes.
What starts as a simple job from Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) soon becomes anything but, ending with the death of one of the Expendables (guess who) thanks to rival merc and genuine bad guy Jean Vilain (yes, they did that and the guy playing this villain is none other than Jean-Claude Van Damme). So obviously the Expendables set out to get some sweet revenge for their fallen brother, probably where the awesome starts.
Simon West (Con Air) takes the directing chair from Sylvester Stallone this time around and besides Rambo we also have in here John McClane (Bruce Willis), the 800 series Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Frank Martin (Jason Statham), Chuck Norris (Chuck Norris), Luc Deveraux (Jean-Claude Van Damme), Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), Wah Sing Ku (Jet Li), the real brother of Thor (Liam Hemsworth) and many others.
The Expandables 2 blows up theaters worldwide starting August 17th.
