New set images of Anne Hathaway in her Catwoman costume

catwoman set images Image Warner Bros. released our first official look at Anne Hathaway in her Catwoman costume back in August and it seemed Christopher Nolan had replaced the traditional ‘cat ears’ with hi-tech goggles.

However some new set images have appeared online over at Just Jared of Anne Hathaway in her costume, and she’s wearing cat ears.

In past incarnations the cat ears have mainly been used for aesthetic reasons, giving the character a more feline appearance to fit with the name, but here Nolan seems to have given them a practical use. The primary function of these hi-tech goggles is still unknown, but when not in use they could give the appearance of cat ears on top of her head. If that’s the idea it’s quite a smart and interesting take on the design, but we’ll have to see if they work on-screen when The Dark Knight Rises hits next July.

    I never make judgments about upcoming films from fan pics. I need to see something through the eye of Nolan’s camera before I’ll decide whether or not it looks good. While I’ve yet to be dissapointed with anything I’ve ever seen from Nolan, I can’t acquiesce to victory prematurely. We have to see film footage that he’s shot and edited and released to a trailer before we know what to think.

    That being said…she does look kind of puny doesn’t she? The cat ears look kinda goofy don’t they?

    Well, if its any thing like the last Batman movie, she is going to have to work her butt off if she wants to be a bigger pussy than the dark knight himself! Indecisive and insecure about his place in society, pussy whipped, pussed out. The joker sent christian bale scurrying to the back stage, struggling to uphold a manly bravado, clearly identifying his going thru acting puberty, by his silly changing voice.

    she looks more like a wuss than a puss. she definitely needs to be fuller of figure and have a real snarl to her. now she looks puny and declawed. i am praying her acting rises above her body and scares the bejezus out of us.
