Aaron Eckhart, who was recently seen as Harvey Dent/Two-Face in The Dark Knight, has joined Battle: Los Angeles. This will be the first time Eckhart takes the lead in an action movie, and I am sure having a large role in the biggest film of the year had a little something to do with it.

The story, written by Chris Bertolini, revolves around a Marine platoon’s encounter in the battle on the streets of Los Angeles against an alien invasion. Eckhart will play the platoon leader in the film, which has yet to set a start date.
