We got the great 28 Days Later back in 2003, which was then followed by 28 Weeks Later in 2007. I didn’t get the chance to see it, but it looks like it made enough money as news has appeared online that we may have a director for 28 Months Later. From ArrowInTheHead:
The scoop I caught was that a director has been chosen for this second installment. Who? PAUL ANDREW WILLIAMS baby! The UK director of THE COTTAGE. So there you have it! The 28 MONTHS LATER wheels are in motion!
Last year Danny Boyle, director of the first film, said he would be interested in directing and hinted that the third film may take place in Russia. Now if this news is true then that could mean Boyle will be returning as an executive producer, rather than directing.
Either way, it appears zombies are still alive and well 2 years after the outbreak first began. Lets hope they get wiped out in this one because I don’t think many people will be up for a 28 Years Later.
