Toy Story 3 Poster

A new poster for Toy Story 3 has appeared online over at OutNow. This is the second one we have got (the first one can be seen here), yet the movie won't be released for another 2 years, so I guess we can call this a very early teaser poster. Although, the good news is that Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack and John Ratzenberger will all be back to lend their voices to their toy characters.

Woody, Buzz, and the rest of their toy-box…

Coolness: Image Metrics CG Facial Animation

My most anticipated movie at this point in time is James Cameron's Avatar. Cameron is known for his groundbreaking technology and when the Avatar actors describe the CG technology as '20x more advanced than Beowulf' you know we have something to look forward to. Here's Emily: She isn't real. Avatar producer Jon Landau spoke about this technology that will be used in the film: "Image Metrics’ revolutionary technologies for performance-driven character animation require neither complex motion-capture hardware, nor specialist technical knowledge. Their animation solutions put the performer at the heart of the process, dramatically enhancing the creativity and reducing post-production time. It is this…

Nicolas Cage Joins Kick-Ass

Nicolas Cage has been cast in Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Cage will play a former cop named Big Daddy who is trying to bring down a druglord and has trained his 11 year old daughter (Chloe Moretz) to be “a lethal weapon”. Meanwhile, Aaron Johnson has been cast as the title character, a 15-year-old boy named Dave Lizewski who attempts to become a real-life superhero. 21-year-old Lyndsy Fonseca will play high school hottie and Dave’s crush Katie Deauxma, who thinks he is gay. Ha! Movie studios…

Arnold’s Voice In Terminator Salvation?

Terminator Salvation producer Moritz Borman recently spoke to Wired about the involvement of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie. Borman, who produced all three previous Terminator movies, told Wired.com: "Schwarzenegger is governing California. He will not be, as a person, in the film." "As a person" opens the door to some kind of voiceover, right? "I'm not going to answer the question about what we're trying, or what we want, or what we're toying with," said Borman. "It's really up to what fits in the film or not. Maybe his…

Dragonball Scrapped?

According to Film Junk an anonymous tipster told them that the big wigs at FOX are thinking about scrapping the upcoming Dragonball movie. According to our tipster, the higher-ups at Fox are not too impressed the footage that has been shot thus far, and are seriously debating shutting the whole thing down. Now I have no idea if this is a real possibility or if the studio is just putting pressure on director James Wong to deliver, but the movie supposedly has a budget of over $100 million and I can…

Superman Reboot Confirmed. DC Getting Darker!

A few days ago it was reported that Man of Steel, the sequel to Superman Returns, was not going anywhere over at Warner Bros. Today we have a new development. Warner Bros. Pictures Group President Jeff Robinov told The Wall Street Journal that the studio is going to be reintroducing Superman. Warner Bros. also put on hold plans for another movie starring multiple superheroes -- known as "Batman vs. Superman" -- after the $215 million "Superman Returns," which had disappointing box-office returns, didn't please executives…

Wrath of the Lich King Trailer

A cinematic trailer for the next World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, has been released. But what the hell has this got to do with movies? Well, in 2006 Legendary Pictures (the production company behind 300, The Dark Knight, Watchmen and Ninja Assassin) teamed up with Blizzard and announced their intentions to make a live-action World of Warcraft movie. However, since then we haven't heard anything about it. On August 2nd the status on it's IMDB page was updated to 'Pre-Production' but there have been no official announcements. So far it looks like the planned 2009…

Bond Pushed Back A Week

Columbia Pictures have decided to push Quantum of Solace back from November 7th to November 12th in the US of A. I think it's amazing that Harry Potter's shift last week has caused a ripple effect among the other November releases. First Twilight and Bolt moved, and now Bond has changed it's date. "The strategic move places the highly-anticipated James Bond adventure one week closer to the prime movie-going holiday window and takes advantage of last week's decision to move the release date of 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood…

Update On Matthew Vaughn’s Ass

...Kick-Ass that is. (Sorry if I disappointed you with the title. Although I can confirm Matthew Vaugh's ass is doing well under the circumstances) Last week we learned that Superbad actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse would be playing an angry teen son of a mobster who tries to find uncover Kick-Ass’ identity. Now BreaktheFourthWall.com got a chance to talk to Mark Millar, who revealed more details about the movie. ...during the interview he revealed a little bit more about the Kick-Ass film that was not previously announced. Including: That the main character of Dave…

Dumbledore Set Pic From Half Blood prince

Warner Bros have released a new image from the set of Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince. The image shows Michael Gambon as Albus Dumbledore standing in front of a crew who look pretty bored. My guess is that they are all waiting for next July, which is when the movie will now be released, as apposed to November.

Yesterday Warner Bros President, Alan Horn, was forced to release a statement after thousands of Harry Potter fans sent their pet owls to his house with letters attached, demanding to…
