Liv Tyler Is Scared Of Dollface

This new clip from The Strangers made my heart beat more than the time I was chased by a deaf bear. The Strangers will be out May 30th in the US, and October 3rd for people in the UK…

Steven Spielberg And Peter Jackson To Co-Direct Third Tintin Movie?

It is well known that Steven Spielberg will be directing the first movie in the Tintin trilogy, and Peter Jackson will take over for the second outing. However, people have been wondering for quite a while now who will be sat in the directors chair for the third film. As the films will involve 3D motion capture technology, names such as Robert Zemeckis and James Cameron have been thrown around, but it seems that Spielberg already knows how it will play out. While on his Indy rounds, he talked…

New Tropic Thunder Trailer!

I like the fact that Ben Stiller hasn't fallen into the Will Ferrell trap by playing the same character in every single movie, just with a different setting. I also like that fact that Ben Stiller has finally made a movie I am looking forward to. If movies were based on the cast then Tropic Thunder could be up for an Academy Award next year. We have Jack Black doing what he does best, and the new King of Hollywood, Robert Downey Jr, who has taken a unique…

Australia Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer for Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman's Australia is now online. After watching it I thought it looked good, but not as good as the featurette's we have been getting. Apparently they were only a few days short of Titanic's filming length, so no doubt they will have tonnes of footage to show us in future trailers. More amazing scenery please Mr. Baz Luhrmann!…

Fringe Promo Posters

"Fringe" is the new TV Series by Writer/Director/Producer extraordinaire J.J. Abrams. It's a television drama centered around a female FBI agent who is forced to work with an institutionalized scientists in order to rationalize a brewing storm of unexplained phenomena. Kind of sounds like X-Files, but with Abrams behind the wheel, I have a little more faith for the series. Also interesting is that it's the return of Joshua Jackson (The Mighty Ducks, Dawson's Creek) to TV! These posters are interesting, because you have to look close to find the "clues": 1) The hand has six fingers; 2) In the…

New Wanted Featurette Makes Me Want To See It!

Empire got themselves a very cool featurette for upcoming Wanted. Before I saw this I thought that Hollywood were doing what they usually do by taking a graphic novel, pissing on it, stealing its name and concept, throwing in some A-List actors and slapping a PG-13 rating on it. However, it seems they are doing the opposite, which is good. The action scenes look amazing and unique. After watching the first trailer and seeing all of the Matrix style bullet time sequences I thought it was just going to be a blatant rip-off. But it isn't. It may actually be…

Coolness: Thunderbirds Get Freaky

I was watching the TV like normal bored human beings do, and then this marvellous advertisement appeared. After the disastrous Thunderbirds movie back in 2004, I thought Thunderbirds as a franchise was dated and could never translate to today's audience. However, after watching this commercial I believe that a Thunderbirds movie could actually work, as long as they actually use puppets and keep Vanessa Hudgens and Bill Paxton away...well away…

Friday Narnia Numbers

Prince Caspian Friday box office results are in, and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was able to pull in a cool $19.3 mil! This brings the weekend estimate to about $54-62 million, slightly behind first weekend totals for the first movie and quite a bit under the $85 million prediction for this weekend. Still, it's managed to make more than Speed Racer, and only in one day! Let us know your thoughts about the movie in our comments section…

New ‘The Rocker’ Poster, Trailer, And Advance Screening!

Rainn Wilson (The Office, Juno, The Last Mimzy) is in another mindless movie! In this one he plays an aging rocker who gets a second chance at stardom... in his nephew's band! The Rocker tells the story of a failed drummer who is given a second chance at fame. Robert "Fish" Fishman is the extremely dedicated and astoundingly passionate drummer for the eighties hair band Vesuvius, who is living the rock n' roll dream until he is unceremoniously kicked out of the band. Twenty years after his rock star fantasies are destroyed, just when Fish has finally given…
