Sam Worthington Joins Terminator!

Joining Christian Bale in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, is Australian actor Sam Worthington. according to Variety. Sam nearly got the lead in GI Joe but had to pull out due to filming commitments for James Cameron's Avatar. He seems to be an actor to watch out for over the upcoming years so make a mental note of his name and face. The fact the Australian actor just played the lead in the James Cameron-directed "Avatar" is no coincidence. Cameron recommended Worthington to "Terminator Salvation" director McG, indicating that the director of the first…

Eric BanaSo your the star of a new comic book movie coming onto the big screen, its a well known character and everything looks good. However, it turns out the movie wasn't as good as it could have been, and a couple of years later the studio decide to forget your movie ever happened and redo the character with a different actor and direction. Fox vs Warner Bros Over Watchmen

Yesterday it was Tolkein vs New Line, today its 20th Century Fox vs. Warner Bros. I'm starting to think Hollywood sues each other just for the hell of it now. The reason for this lawsuit is the rights to upcoming Watchmen staring Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Matthew Goode and directed by 300's Zack Snyder. Fox seeks to enjoin Warners from going forward with Watchmen, saying in the lawsuit that it seeks to “restrain (Warner Bros. Pictures) from taking actions that violate Fox’s copyrights and which stand to forever impair Fox’s rights to control the distribution and development of…

An image of Hugh Jackman looking rather Wolverine-like has been brought to our attention, but it is not the first still of Wolverine on set or Hugh in costume.

Hugh Jackman Photo

Despite the leather and furry face, this is a photo of Wolverine by some fans who happened to see him after a Jet Boat ride, as you can see below. Hugh Jackman is on the back row towards the right, and if you look closely you will see non other than Liev Schreiber on the…

New Lawsuit Could Put The Hobbit At Risk!

New Line have just solved one lawsuit with director Peter Jackson regarding the profits of The Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Rings, and now they are faced with another. Movies We Can Now Look Forward To As The Writers Strike Draws To A Close!

Since the 5th November 2007 members of the Writers Guild of America have not written, typed, engraved or sprayed any words down on whatever they would normally write, type, engrave or spray on. People have lost jobs, sleep and most likely, weight, due to all the protesting instead of sat on their backends writing. But most importantly, production on some of the most anticipated movies ever have been halted. In most cases the studios have done what they can under the circumstances, such as storyboarding, thinking and possibly scribbling down those thoughts down. But no script means no filming. So now that the writers could be back at work within days, what movies can we now look forward to?…
