HEROES - Season Two Review

Just a heads up, but there will be SPOILERS in this review. Proceed at your own caution.

Last season, Heroes was one of the best new shows on television. It started off slow, but quickly found its legs to become a breakout hit (and not to mention becoming NBC’s answer to ABC’s Lost). Unfortunately, after a terrific run, the show lost millions of viewers after it came back from its winter hiatus. It had also lost that spark that made the show special, and it limped its way to a lackluster season finale

Lawrence Talks About Legend Re-Shoots

We heard rumors a few weeks ago that the Will Smith starrer I Am Legend went back to the set, completely reshooting the ending to the film. Over at Shock Til You Drop, they had a chance to speak with director Francis Lawrence over the weekend, who talked about what went down. "I'm a huge fan of pick-ups and re-shoots," he tells us. "There's this misconception that it's always a bad thing and for me it's like saying a painter only has one shot at a brush stroke. That you can't erase and do it again. We weren't seeing fully-rendered

The movie, starring Seth Rogen and James Franco, is about two stoner friends who witness a murder, and decide to get their life back on track while a band of criminals hunts them down. Be sure to head over to YouTube to check out the clip! EDIT: Just Kidding! Apparently, it WASN'T a studio sanctioned clip, and Sony Pictures had it taken down. Sorry!

James Cameron on the Avatar Alien Design!

Last week we posted a design of an alien creature that found it's way onto the internet, you can remind yourself of it here. Well, Harry Knowles over at AICN received an email from James Cameron himself regarding the image. Here's what he had to say: You recently posted some artwork of a supposed Na'vi character. Don't know where you got it but it's spurious. I've never seen that piece of art. We had a lot of free-ranging conceptual stuff in the early days of design two and a half years ago, and it might be something

Ghost Rider 2 Happening?

I'll be honest. I didn't see Ghost Rider. I think it was due to the bad reception it got which made it a no go area in my mind. The trailers looked good, the effects looked good and Eva Mendes looked good, but I didn't end up going to see it. Therefore, this news falls into the 'I don't care but I'll talk about it' category. Nicolas Cage has spoke about the possibility of a sequel, telling SuperHero Hype "All they have to do is call, and I would love to see that happen. That would be fun." He also spoke

New Promo Pics of Batman & The Joker

A couple of new promo pics landed on the Internet over the weekend for next summer's The Dark Knight. Check out the new pictures of Batman & The Joker! The picture of Batman allows us to see his new suit a bit better. It's a bit of a departure, but I kinda dig it. Also, The Joker looks pretty badass.

Peter Jackson Directing The Hobbit? In 3D? Then 3Ding the LOTR Trilogy?

When I first read about this I nearly wet myself...with excitement. Over the past year or two people having been wondering whether Peter Jackson would return to his Middle Earth roots and direct The Hobbit. The only thing stopping this wonderful event is a rather big legal battle between Jackson and New Line Cinema over profits for Fellowship Of The Ring. I don't know the ins and out of it but something tells me they both didn't expect the film to make $871 million worldwide, so Jackson wants what a bit of what he deserves...moneywise. New Lines Bob Shaye went as

Wonder Woman and Batman?

Ok. So here's the deal. A lot of rumors have been flying around today about some casting tidbits on the Justice League movie. First off, the kind folks over at Ain't It Cool seemingly have 100% confirmation that they know who will be playing Wonder Woman. And that woman is Megan Gale. Gale is a supermodel from Down Under (that's Australia to you geographically challenged folks). First things first: She definitely looks the part. Example:
